Position:                    Television Assistant TVA, Bell Media, Unifor 723M

Status:                       Regular Part-time

Salary:                       Group B- Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Location:                   Bell Media Inc. – 299 Queen St W, Toronto

Salary:                       Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Hours of Work:         24 hrs per week or TBA.  Overtime as required. Weekend & shift work as required

  • Technical preparation, set up and disassembling of production broadcast equipment for both in studio & mobile location productions.
  • Assist with operation and adjustments of various broadcast equipment including cameras, devices, lenses & accessories, audio, lighting, cabling and monitors
  • Routine operational maintenance of in studio facilities
  • Assist with general technical production needs


  • 3 - 5 years of experience in live studio and location media production
  • Post Secondary education in Television Broadcast or Media Production with previous experience in technical operations
  • A basic understanding of audio & video signal flow and the ability to troubleshoot technical problems
  • Ability to work well in a crew environment and have strong interpersonal skills



Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
