Summary

The Bell Brand and Marketing Communications team is at the forefront of driving Bell’s market leadership. Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer, the Vice President, AI Marketing and Marcomm Automation will lead Bell’s transition to an AI-first marketing organization.

This executive will act as both a strategic leader and brand practitioner, ensuring Bell’s brand promise—Connection is Everything—is consistently and meaningfully delivered across every customer interactions and will harness emerging AI, automation, and advanced marketing technologies to transform how we plan, create, and execute marketing, driving both operational efficiency and breakthrough creative that strengthens brand equity.

Job Duties / Accountabilities

Brand Leadership & Practitioner Mindset

  • Act as both steward and practitioner of the Bell brand and Bell’s brand promise—Connection is Everything - ensuring it is expressed consistently and meaningfully across all marketing and customer experiences and activations.
  • Embed brand principles into AI systems, workflows, and decision-making, ensuring consistent, high-quality brand expression at scale.

Strategic Marketing & Communications Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive, integrated marketing and communications strategies aligned to enterprise priorities, growth objectives, and Bell’s brand promise.
  • Champion the Bell brand vision and value proposition, ensuring clear and compelling differentiation across consumer and business segments.
  • Lead integrated, multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, content, and experiential, leveraging AI to maximize precision, reach, engagement, and ROI.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams to shape and execute go-to-market strategies for platform launches and bundled offerings.
  • Ensure all strategies and campaigns are insight-driven, brand-forward, and connection-led, delivering both commercial impact and meaningful customer engagement.

AI-Enabled Marketing Transformation

  • Champion the end-to-end integration of AI agents and automation technologies to compress timelines from brief development through to execution and deployment.
  • Redefine the marketing operating model, enabling teams to focus on high-value strategic and creative work, while AI scales execution.
  • Partner with MarTech and Data teams to embed AI across the full marketing lifecycle, ensuring seamless and scalable execution.

Media, Performance & Commercial Impact

  • Lead a high-performing team of media strategists and digital activation experts supporting multiple business units.
  • Implement AI-driven measurement frameworks that directly tie marketing efforts to brand health, customer engagement, and business outcomes.
  • Eliminate low-value reporting, focusing on insight-driven performance management and actionable outcomes.

Operational Excellence & Productivity

  • Identify, quantify, and realize significant productivity gains by automating high-volume tasks and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Oversee and optimize large-scale marketing budgets, ensuring disciplined investment decisions that maximize both brand equity and commercial returns.

Leadership & Enterprise Collaboration

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure alignment to enterprise strategy and a consistent brand narrative.
  • Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, driving adoption, capability building, and sustained change across marketing and brand functions

Essential Qualifications / Competencies

 

  • 15+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in Marketing, MarTech, AdTech, Brand Leadership, or Digital Transformation at an enterprise level.
  • Proven track record of integrating brand strategy with modern marketing technologies, ensuring consistency and impact across complex, multi-channel environments.
  • Expertise in integrated marketing communications, including campaign strategy, media planning, digital marketing, and brand positioning
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business outcomes through creative marketing strategies and data-driven insights.
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Significant experience managing and optimizing multi-million-dollar marketing, creative, and media budgets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or relevant field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) is a strong asset
  • Deep expertise in AI, Generative AI, and automation technologies, with demonstrated success deploying these capabilities within marketing ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of the full marketing lifecycle: strategy, briefing, creative development, media planning/buying, deployment, and analytics.

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
