Job Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Support the end-to-end automation pipeline to ensure intake requests are accurately assessed and automation solutions are effectively designed, developed, and implemented
  • Review new automation intake requests to understand scope, feasibility, risks, and requirements
  • Document the Current Mode of Operation (CMO) by capturing existing workflows and process steps
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the Future Mode of Operation (FMO) and ensure all requirements are fully understood and accurately documented
  • Develop high quality process maps, documentation, and requirements packages for complete end-to-end processes
  • Support testing activities to validate outputs, identify gaps or issues, and ensure solutions meet operational needs
  • Produce clear, structured documentation for internal stakeholders, maintaining standards and updating reference materials as processes evolve
  • Work closely with partners across Accounting Services and the Automation team to maintain alignment throughout design, development, and deployment stages

Key Decision / Problem Solving:

  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of process documentation and testing results used to support automation design and deployment
  • Escalate risks or gaps proactively and propose solutions that maintain process quality and consistency
  • Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and support implementation of process improvements

Essential Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Knowledge of English required : In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across Accounting Services
  • Ability to translate complex operational information into clear, structured documentation
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships to support successful project execution
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 Apps
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with process documentation, workflow or business analysis
  • Ability to learn and use new technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple intake requests under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Previous experience in automation related work, process improvement, or business analysis

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
