Name and description of the hiring department:

Workload consists of technical support in a call center and managing requests with Desjardins merchants that objectives are set by SLA’s. 

 

Job Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Answer questions relative to point of sale equipment and their applications
  • Execute diagnostics and supports the requester with suggested corrective actions to complete the incident
  • Seize and update information in various databases, among them Service Manager and Base 24
  • Act as a liaison with the supplier, the customers, as well as internal and external participants
  • Analyses and evaluates the customers telecommunication needs and establishes priorities in function with the information necessary to establish the request
  • Draft and emit requests in different databases; move, add, change, removal and transmits it to the concerned services

 

Essential Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Two (2) years’ experience in customer service, call center or a customer assistant center.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, e-mail as well as the HPSM ticket system.
  • Knowledge in point of sale terminal (Interac) highly recommended

  • Personal motivation and the ability to work under minimum supervision

 

Working Conditions:

  • Hours of work: Call Center open 24 hours / 7 days a week
  • Status: Temporary Assignment (Seasonal) - 37.5 hours per week - must be available between 6.00am to 12:00am

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
