We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.  
 

Name and description of hiring department:

The BCE Benefits team is looking for a Senior Consultant - Benefits in order to provide benefits consulting services to a clientele comprised of Business Units from the Bell Group of Companies. This team is responsible for developing, recommending and implementing programs for the employees of various divisions in order to support business strategies.

 

Your accountabilities will be:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on benefits projects that may involve:

  • In order to improve employees’ experience, the development of new programs including cost analysis, recommendation and implementation of these programs
  • the preparation of presentation material for all audiences including higher management
  • policy analysis/modification in keeping with laws, regulations and business strategies
  • handling financial arrangements with external suppliers and supporting procurement in renewal of contracts
  • support to various groups including human resources, labour relations, finance, legal and payroll in the interpretation and application of policies

 

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:

  • Knowledge of benefits programs
  • Strong programming skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a blend of management, creativity and business skills
  • Solid planning, execution and analytical skills
  • Solid project management skills
  • Ability to analyze results and provide recommendations
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities
  • Solid partnering and interpersonal skills

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies

  • University degree in actuarial sciences
  • Minimum of 5 years experience
  • Mastering Excel and Microsoft Office suite
  • Bilingual speaking and writing (French and English)

 

Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
