Position Description:

This solicitation is for a Senior Security Solutions Consultant to join the National Security Testing & Incident Response Team (STIRT).  The Security Consultant will primarily be responsible to conduct Penetration Testing activities for major clients in Canada. Reporting directly to the Regional Security Practice Leader, the candidate will be an ongoing participant to the portfolio evolution program along with other STIRT customer deliverables.  The growth potential for Professional Services in the GTA is sizeable. This individual will leverage past years of experience in the IS/IT domain, his (or her) demonstrated time management skills, and proven technical knowledge to deliver and grow the team’s services nationally. The Senior Security Solutions Consultant is accountable for the delivery of the STIRT that will be delivered across Canada.

 

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

  • Perform network penetration, advance web and mobile application testing, wireless network assessments and social-engineering
  • Be able to lead security testing project from the start to end
  • Develop scripts, tools and methodologies to improve STIRT processes
  • Develop and deliver accurate reports
  • Deliver presentation for technical and executive customer
  • On time delivery of solutions and consulting engagements in accordance with contract terms and conditions or statements of work and industry best practices
  • Meeting with clients to present and disclose findings
  • Management of client expectations and timely resolution of issues that may arise
  • Ability to accurately scope and provide associated effort levels for future opportunities
  • Be able to communicate findings and security risk with confidence to client including executives and technical staff.
  • Provide technical coaching to junior team members. 

 

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent business experience
  • 5+ years experience in at least two of the following fields:
    • Network penetration testing
    • Web Application test and/or mobile testing
    • Software development in C#, C, C++, Python, Go, PHP or Java
    • Reverse Engineering skillset or exploit development
    • Social Engineering skills
  • Strongly familiar with Linux/Windows based OS
  • Holding at least one of the following certifications or equivalent:
    • OSCP
    • OSCE
    • OSWE
    • CRTE
    • GPEN
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Possesses strong leadership skills
  • Having participated in security competition is a plus
  • A strong ability to be a team player

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
