Responsibilities:

  • Drawing upon your entrepreneurial desire and excellent hunting skills, you have the focus to recruit and retain new business based on the individual needs of clients
  • You carry an impeccable track record of sales success in developing marketing solutions to your clients
  • To be organized and self-motivated to achieve your monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets
  • To provide superior customer service through building and managing customer relationships
  • Demonstrate creativity in making sales presentations and have versatile computer skills
  • To liaise with all sales support functions
  • Engage with clients, network within the advertising industry, and keep up to date on shifting marketing trends and designs
  • Create and follow through with business plans and revenue pacing
  • Work within the station’s core values of Integrity, Creativity, Respect and Teamwork

 

Qualifications:

  • Understands basic principles of marketing and enjoys the challenge of selling
  • Post-secondary education or equivalency in Business/Marketing
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills combined with the ability to set priorities
  • Self-starter with good analytical abilities
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
  • Problem-solver, results driven individual
  • Ability to properly manage one’s own performance
  • Resourcefulness and initiative are essential
  • Cold-calling and networking skills and experience a definite asset
