Role:

We are looking for a vibrant and dynamic Media Licensing Business Affairs Coordinator to provide administrative support to our Media Licensing and Business Affairs teams working directly with the in-house production teams in Bell Media Studios.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Review and revise standard production and rights agreements including production releases, licenses, waivers and deal memos
  • Provide guidance and support to all Bell Media in-house production units on clearance and rights questions
  • Manage the flow of contracts and maintain internal filing systems 
  • Coordinate all contract administration; tracking information and ensuring all actions taken and parties paid; liaising with Accounting to ensure timely payments are made; enter payment requests into the accounting system.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential material with discretion
  • Coordinate and maintain the flow of information, schedules, and meetings between business affairs and various production teams
  • Other administrative and coordinator duties as needed

 

Qualifications:         

  • You have a minimum 2 years work experience in media production, clearances and/or media related business affairs
  • You have prior experience reading contracts, licensing and other media agreements and you can accurately identify and understand rights information.  Drafting experience is not necessary, but would be considered an asset.
  • You are proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word and MS Outlook, and have excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
  • You possess above average written and oral communication skills and you can communicate effectively with all levels of personnel both inside and outside of the company
  • You have experience handling confidential and sensitive information
  • You are highly organized with a keen eye for detail
  • You can prioritize effectively and can juggle constant deadlines

 

Location: 299 Queen street West, Toronto

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required

 

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
