CTV Digital is seeking a highly organized and engaged Web Content Manager. This role will be required to manage and maintain all content that is published on


This position will be part of the CTV digital team, reporting to the Manager, Digital Content, and will work closely with producers, content coordinators and product managers.

The primary duty of this role will be to make daily updates to the website promoting our broadcast TV priorities, digital video library and editorial content. Other assignments will include asset management, working with both internal and external partners, content strategy planning, analytics reporting and some creative brainstorming.


Responsibilities include:

  • Build, publish and maintain all pages on using our internal CMS
  • Develop robust and engaging website layouts that may incorporate articles, interviews, videos, photo galleries and more
  • Develop an expert knowledge of all content currently available on and be aware of all upcoming content coming to the site
  • Write headlines, copy and edit digital images for publication on the website
  • Work with digital video editors to produce engaging short clips from a variety of CTV shows
  • Meet with marketing and programming teams to be aware of all CTV broadcast and digital priorities
  • Help develop content plans with both internal and external production teams for effectively promoting CTV’s digital content library, original programming and live events (The Oscars, The Emmys, etc.)
  • Champion new concepts for the site and constantly look for opportunities in which to broaden the online user experience and increase engagement
  • Gather analytics on all content and promotions and present that information to the digital team
  • Liaise with marketing, communications, programming, sales and brand partnership teams in order to attain information and assets for upcoming shows, projects and contesting initiatives
  • Pitch brand and sponsorship opportunities; work with sales teams to define client advertising integrations
  • Work with the CTV social media team to help drive audience to assigned programs
  • Ensure quality control and production standard of materials
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager, CTV Digital



  • Minimum three years of experience in digital media and web production with a focus on entertainment content production
  • University or Post-Secondary education in English, Communications or Digital Media preferred
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS) like Wordpress, Drupal, Kentico or others
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Strong interest in television, entertainment, and CTV programming in particular
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Strong familiarity with Adobe Photoshop for editing and optimizing images
  • Ability to thrive and work in an environment that is fast-paced and demands creativity
  • Must be able to execute against challenging timelines and numerous priorities
  • Fluency with online communities and social media
  • Experience with video editing software (Final Cut Pro, Premiere) considered an asset
  • Experience with basic web languages considered an asset (HTML, XML, meta-data, SEO, etc.)
  • Familiarity with technical specifications and formats for online video considered an asset
