The successful candidate would be a self-motivated individual with a can-do attitude and a passion for sales, combined with experience and desire to manage a highly creative team of sales professionals.This position will provide management support to the Victoria TV & Radio sales team, as well as maintain and develop major accounts.  In order to do so, responsibilities will include:



  • Manage the day to day operation of the Television and Radio Sales Department and Team.
  • Liaise with Victoria Management on behalf of Sales.
  • Contact decision makers and conduct thorough needs analysis with targeted accounts.
  • Compile research, create promotional ideas, present & sell business solutions to all major accounts.
  • “Super Serve” all accounts with the utmost of integrity and professionalism, with the goal to assist them with achieving results and moving their business forward.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and co-ordinate internally with our Retail Sales Team.
  • Be an advocate, ambassador and mentor to the Account Executives seeking always to drive the best possible solutions for client and Bell Media Victoria products.
  • Forecast, strategize and execute to drive revenue.
  • Positively reinforce the value of “active listening” both in tasks at hand as well as with the dynamics of the sales team.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings as required, and provide weekly call planning and reporting as required.
  • Work within the operations core values of Integrity, Creativity, Respect and Teamwork.
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Post-secondary education in Sales or Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years’ experience in a sales-related field, managing people, in a similar size market, with a proven track record of achievement and increasing sales.
  • Measureable knowledge of the Victoria and area advertising market.
  • Demonstrated success in handling and influencing key decision makers with major accounts.
  • Strong negotiating skills and public speaking skills are a must.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Power Point.
  • Highly motivated, dependable and energetic
