On the Bell Business Markets team, you’ll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You’ll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

Summary
You will be working within an on-call Network Operations and Engineering team, supporting core infrastructure and customer solutions within a highly secure environment. This role focuses on the lifecycle of core network devices, from Day 1 engineering to ongoing operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Core Network Operations: Lead the engineering and operational support for core network devices, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.
- Security Infrastructure: Manage and configure Fortigate and Cisco firewalls and switches to maintain a robust security posture.
- Identity & Access Management: Administer authentication servers, specifically Cisco ISE and Fortinet Authenticator.
- DNS & Specialized Environments: Manage Infoblox DNS servers specifically within Protect B (Protected B) environments.
- Out-of-Band Management: Configure and maintain Cradlepoint OBM routers and the NCOM management platform.
- Circuit Management: Oversee the ordering and end-to-end management of network circuits, including BID, MPLS, and Wavelength.
- Precision Timing: Maintain and support Time Servers (Atomic Clocks) for network synchronization.
- Documentation: Create high-level technical documentation and maintain internal network maps and process flows.
Critical Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Active Canadian Secret Level II (Level II) Security Clearance.
- Infrastructure Expertise: Extensive experience with Cisco (Switching/Security) and Fortinet (FortiGate) ecosystems.
- Protect B Knowledge: Demonstrated experience working within Government of Canada Protected B security frameworks.
- Protocol Proficiency: Deep understanding of MPLS, Wavelength services, and circuit procurement processes.
- Management Platforms: Experience with Cisco ISE, Fortinet Authenticator, and Cradlepoint NetCloud (NCOM).
- Bell Internal Knowledge: Familiarity with Bell internal networks, ticketing systems, and operational processes is highly preferred.
- Project Leadership: Ability to act as a Proposed Lead for Day 1 engineering projects and complex circuit deployments.
- Automation: Experience using automation tools to manage large-scale core device deployments is a significant asset.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex network outages and security policy remediation.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
