The successful candidate would be a self-motivated individual with a can-do attitude and a passion for sales who is looking for a challenging and rewarding career. Under the direction of the General Sales Manager, this position will maintain and develop major accounts and incremental business. In order to do so, typical responsibilities will include:

 

Responsabilities

  • Contacting decision makers and conducting thorough interviews with targeted accounts
  • Compiling research, creating promotional ideas, presenting & selling business solutions to all major accounts
  • “Super Serve” all accounts with the utmost of integrity and professionalism, with the goal to assist them with achieving results and moving their business forward
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and co-ordinate internally with our Retail Sales Team
  • Participate in weekly meetings as required, and provide weekly call planning and reporting as required
  • Generate and contribute ideas for promotions. Some participation will also be required.
  • Work within the station’s core values of Integrity, Creativity, Respect and Teamwork.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education in Sales or Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a sales-related field in a similar size market, with a proven track record of achievement and increasing sales
  • Demonstrated success in handling and influencing key decision makers with major accounts
  • Must possess strategic skills for prospecting key accounts and handling a high volume of cold calling
  • Strong negotiating skills and public speaking skills are a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Power Point.
  • Highly motivated, dependable and energetic
