Name and Description of Hiring Team:

The Wireline & Wireless Supply Chain district, with employees in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia, New Foundland & Yukon works to cover the end-to-end supply chain including planning, sourcing, warehousing, distribution, performance standard measures and transportation.  We also work closely with our internal customers, and our external vendor community in providing the right products in a timely and complete fashion.

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Supply Chain (Wired Access Network, Relationship Management), the candidate will be responsible for reviewing and improving the scheduling processes of the supply chain team. He will have to seize the opportunities to simplify and automate the processes and reports used. He will also be responsible for capital lease orders and the point of contact for this order process.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Capital Lease Orders
  • Work in collaboration with the SAP support system team to improve Capital Lease process
  • Be the contact person for automating the creation of capital lease orders
  • Assisting as a subject matter expert and active member on projects
  • Work on automating the repetitive tasks of schedulers
  • Test SAP system improvements related to a project or initiative
  • Work with project teams to improve business processes
  • Review, update or develop documentation and training for the development of new systems and the improvement of existing systems
  • Check for improvements and projects after implementation
  • Find process improvements, which often requires coordination across multiple functional areas
  • Discuss with internal and external customer groups to define and analyze customer needs

Preferred Competencies:

  • University degree – preferably in Inventory control/management or Supply Chain Management. Similar work experience can be an acceptable substitute
  • Industrial engineering degree is an asset
  • Knowledge of SAP is asset
  • Knowledge of supply chain management (MRP) is asset

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
