The Retail Centre of Excellence Planning and Compensation Team is a high performance team driven by a culture of pride.  We are committed to enabling the retail channels to meet their goals and objectives through data efficient compensations processes, systems and thoughtful planning as well as clear alignment of compensation and business objectives. 

 

We are a team that is dedicated and focused on:

Fast and accurate compensation payments to all retail stakeholders, ensuring execution excellence across all of BCEs retail channels, and acting as the liaison between the retail channels and the business.

 

The Role:

The role will allow the incumbent to be proactively involved in all aspects of the planning, reporting and automating compensation processes for the retail channels. It is a phenomenal opportunity for individuals with an interest in applying their skills in manipulating large data sets along with the chance to leverage knowledge of big data platforms and/or to develop new skills using SAS and MicroStrategy to drive automation and advanced reporting for the business. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and generating automated reports for the sales channel. The frequency of these reports will vary from daily to quarterly depending on the KPI/Metric being reported.
  • Establish reporting requirement with key internal stakeholders, working with the sales channels/IT/Business Intelligence to enable key reporting functionality in SAS, Micro Strategy and/other reporting tools
  • Responsible for validating compensation statements by investigating and documenting differences between different databases

 

Demonstrated Skills:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics/Business Administration or another analytical discipline
  • Demonstrated analytical ability with focus on detail, accuracy, complex problem solving and logic capabilities
  • Experience using programming language as SQL, Visual Basic or other
  • Previous experience using BI tools such as SAS/Teradata/MicroStrategy/R and other relational databases
  • Experience in the mobility industry is an asset
  • Experience with financial reporting

 

Working Conditions:

  • Candidate must work 37.5 hours weekly, Monday – Friday
  • Overtime may be required for project implementations, testing and support

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
