Job Overview
BTS is seeking a highly accountable and results-driven project delivery coordinator to oversee and optimize the performance of our structured cabling dispatch desk and billing team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations, accurate billing, and the timely completion of all structured cabling projects. This role requires a proactive individual who takes ownership of results, investigates performance gaps and develops, and implements action plans to exceed targets. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch Desk Management: Oversee the daily operations of the structured cabling dispatch desk, ensuring efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with field technicians.
- Billing Team Management: Supervise the structured cabling billing team, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
- Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both the dispatch desk and billing team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Problem Solving & Analysis: Investigate and resolve discrepancies, delays, or other operational issues impacting both teams.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall team performance.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare regular reports on team performance, key metrics, and operational updates for management.
- Team Leadership & Development: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Proven experience in managing dispatch and/or billing teams within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective action plans.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel 2 days per month to BTS work centers
