Position Overview

Reporting to the Sr. Manager Channel Compensation, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of inquiries for internal and external sales channels.  This position offers the potential for continued learning and development, as well as satisfying professional challenges and benefits.

Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and manage commission related claims in a timely manner
  • Generate payment adjustments for valid inquiries
  • Communicate in writing the detailed results of investigation
  • Root cause analysis on re-occurring claim submissions to resolve issues systemically
  • Build reporting to provide analytics on claim submission, accuracy, and resolution time
  • Generate and maintain SQL scripts to pull source data to investigate claims
  • Document inquiry processes and educate stakeholders to ensure compliance 
  • Build strong working relationships with various stakeholders
  • Providing valuable feedback to reduce incoming inquiries
  • Identify opportunities for system and process enhancements
  • Undertake periodic audits to ensure payment accuracy and compliance with contract terms

Competencies and Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or relevant field
  • Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Analytical; able to extract and analyze large amounts of data
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
  • Must be flexible, adaptable and versatile

Preferred Skills / Experience

  • Communication
  • Relationship management
  • Presentations
  • Experience in PL/SQL
  • Experience in SAS Enterprise Guide
  • Working knowledge of Bell internal reporting systems, processes, products and services


Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
