Under the supervision of the Senior Consultant, Diversity & Inclusion, the Project Analyst, D&I Analytics must have a strong understanding of project management, end-to-end reporting process, and development of business and system requirements. He/she will be results-driven and have the ability to meet tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Business and HR clients to understand people opportunities, validate assumptions, ensure applicability and determine desired outcomes through reporting capabilities
  • Translate business requirements into actionable analytic solutions
  • Proven ability to put analysis into a business context, develop recommendations and clearly articulate downstream implications
  • Partner with leaders to determine required decisions based on data implications
  • Retrieve relevant data and conduct fact based analysis to support D&I projects
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and strategic thinking to plan and implement key initiatives, campaigns and tactics
  • Deliver within agreed-upon timelines on key projects that directly support key people drivers
  • Explore new sources of information to expand insight opportunities and work with HR reporting/IT teams to implement into overall data architecture
  • Liaise with project/operation teams to help evolve the framework and improve existing analysis activities to meet the changing needs of the business

 

Required Competencies

  • You are analytical and understand the principles of working with large and complex data sets
  • You have the ability to develop insights and leverage opportunities from data and metrics to build analytical solutions and make recommendations
  • You have knowledge of, and preferably experience with leveraging visualization and reporting tools
  • Project management and analytical experience; ability to interpret large data sets
  • Ability to think outside the box and drive new unique approaches
  • Knowledge of database querying (SQL)
  • Knowledge of sampling, and survey techniques and statistical methodologies
  • Preferred Competencies
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree,
  • Demonstrable history of collaboration, communication skills and business acumen
  • Strong aptitude to recognize opportunities for improvement in day-to-day work and take appropriate actions
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple conflicting priorities
  • Experience in Diversity & Inclusion

 

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
