The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.  
 

The Connectivity portfolio is a major financial contributor to the overall BBM results.  The Manager plays a critical role as a business partner focused on improving the Revenue and Gross Margin trajectory.  The mandate is to close the revenue leakage gap, mitigate risk, identify COGs reduction opportunities and contribute to margin improvements.  This role liaises with multiple teams across BBM therefore strong strategic, analytical and critical insight is important.

 

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Identify and assess potential revenue leakage opportunities and perform diagnostics to determine revenue potential and project feasibility. 
  • Lead cross-functional resources on multiple, concurrent revenue recovery projects.
  • Influence the development and implementation of business processes from pre-sales to collection in Revenue Assurance projects
  • Act as a change agent to improve billing accuracy to mitigate revenue leakage. 
  • Validate processes and controls throughout provisioning, ordering and billing to reduce risk to revenue in active RA projects
  • Produce and manage exception lists for action by business partners.
  • Perform in-depth analysis to drive the business forward and make compelling recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Work with Business Partners to improve the Gross Margin trajectory.
  • Assist on ad-hoc projects and business case analysis for various strategic initiatives to drive improved profitability
  • Liaise with the Billing team, Product Mgmt, Customer Svc Account Managers, and various other BBM groups.
  • Recommend, initiate and implement process improvements in Revenue Assurance projects.

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in either Operations or Finance (BBM or Wholesale) preferably with a professional designation.
  • Thorough knowledge of Provisioning, Ordering, Billing & TEOCO systems.
  • Results oriented & innovative - proven ability to provide strategic, analytical and critical insight. Detail-oriented, with strong capacity to organize and synthesize large amounts of information to facilitate the decision-making process for the senior management team.
  • Constantly striving to improve deliverables - demonstrate flexibility and ingenuity to deliver results within tight deadlines, often in a constantly changing environment.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of BBM/Wholesale/BRSB /Atlantic services and processes.
  • Strong project management & analytical skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment and desire to expand skillset;
  • Ability to successfully resolve issues, diagnose revenue leakage problems/risk and COGs opportunities and deliver solutions in a timely manner
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of SAP, BI and BPC are preferred
  • Flexible work ethic especially during peak project delivery timelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
