Summary
The Senior Consultant, Talent Acquisition plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our organization by identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent. Operating as a strategic partner to senior leadership, this role oversees full-cycle recruitment of critical executive searches. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative sourcing strategies, establishing a robust and diverse pipeline of qualified candidate. By leveraging advanced recruitment technologies and conducting rigorous competency-based assessments, you will deliver a world-class candidate and stakeholder experience. Ultimately, your expertise and strategic insights will directly influence our organizational capability, long-term leadership succession, and technological edge.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycles for critical executive-level searches.
- Partner closely with hiring leaders to thoroughly understand hiring needs, align on search profiles, and define success metrics.
- Develop and execute targeted, multi-channel candidate sourcing strategies utilizing advanced research and talent mapping methodologies.
- Conduct in-depth, competency-based interviews and professional assessments to evaluate candidates' technical capabilities and leadership potential.
- Maintain a highly structured, data-driven candidate pipeline within recruiting platforms, ensuring excellent data hygiene and compliance.
- Guide stakeholders and candidates through complex offer formulation, negotiation, and pre-boarding phases to secure top talent.
- Provide consultative market intelligence and competitive talent insights to business leaders, advising on compensation, market trends, and talent availability.
- Deliver an exceptional, high-touch experience for all applicants and stakeholders, serving as an influential ambassador of the company brand.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the optimization of global talent acquisition processes, methodologies, and internal tool adoption.
Critical Qualifications
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment campaigns with an emphasis on both deep technical recruitment and executive search.
- Advanced, hands-on proficiency with major Talent Acquisition technologies, specifically LinkedIn Recruiter, Phenom, and SAP SuccessFactors.
- Strong consulting and relationship-management skills, with a track record of successfully partnering with and influencing VP and C-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and nurture long-term pipelines of passive technical and leadership talent.
- Excellent candidate assessment, behavioral interviewing, and executive presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and offer optimization capabilities, particularly regarding executive compensation packages and equity.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and executive requirements clearly.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and ethical judgment when managing confidential search processes.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple high-priority search mandates simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
