Bell Business Markets marketing team is currently recruiting for a dynamic, results-focused Team Leader, Product Management – Connectivity Services

The portfolio consists of IP/MPLS, Internet, Ethernet, Wavelength, as well as Managed Wifi bundles.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for driving the strategic roadmap execution, maintain units and ARPU growth, manage the existing product lifecycle, and front key Deal support for the overall portfolio. 

This leader will drive speed and velocity in product releases, working in a matrix way across the BCE group. The successful candidate will also lead a team of Senior Product Managers.

This position is both strategic and technical in nature and requires extensive industry experience including traditional wireline/wireless connectivity, SDN/NFV offerings, and managed services
 
Job Function:

  • Lead and coach the connectivity services product team through support and execution of the new product introduction across the Network Practice, including project reviews, release management, and performance tracking
  • Develop the product roadmap, the functionality required to win in the market place while optimizing operating cost and ROI for the company
  • Work closely with the Virtual network Services team to define next-generation connectivity products
  • Provide active support to strategic/complex deals involving wide ranges of connectivity services and Managed wireless products
  • Lead the implementation of new product introduction initiatives as the project sponsor
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for simplification, cost reduction and/or improvement in the end to end product delivery
  • Work with marketing to develop value propositions, sales tools, and collateral

 
Skills and competencies:

  • Experience in product management, complex program management, and product Lifecycles
  • Technical/business expertise in both Enterprise networking, Edge solutions, and IT/Cloud domains, with knowledge/exposure to major global platforms/OEM solutions. 
  • Experience with SDN/NFV, SD-WAN, and other virtual network functions, Demonstrated experience managing mainstream technologies such as MPLS, WAN Optimization, Ethernet connectivity, as well as Wireless products.
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching product releases in agile methodology is an asset
  • Proven ability to foster innovation and drive progressive change
  • Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Financial/business acumen and comfort with Data and business cases
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to influence management at all levels including senior executive levels

 
Experience Required:

  • Minimum  5  years of business experience in Telecommunications, Enterprise or IT/Cloud industries

 
Education requirements:

  • University degree in Business / Finance / Marketing / Engineering degree or equivalent experience

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
