Summary

Bell is a leading telecommunications company at the forefront of technological advancements. We're seeking a talented Senior Technical Product Manager to join our AI team and play a pivotal role in developing next-generation solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for defining the product vision and strategy, leading the product lifecycle, and driving continuous improvement for our mature offerings. This is a highly impactful role requiring strong technical acumen, leadership skills, and a passion for innovation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and champion clear product visions and strategies.
  • Managing the Product Lifecycle: Oversee all aspects of the product lifecycle for multiple products simultaneously, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch support. This includes proactively managing risks and dependencies across products, identifying and resolving roadblocks, prioritizing tasks effectively, and ensuring the timely delivery of product releases for each.
  • Translating Business Needs into Technical Specifications:  Translate complex business problems into clear and concise product requirements. You will create detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) that guide the development team.
  • Defining and Tracking KPIs: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and track progress against targets. Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leading Agile Teams: Lead agile development teams through all stages of the product development process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with multiple internal teams, including data engineering, data science, ML Ops and stakeholder teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance existing products and services, improving their performance, usability, and overall customer experience.
  • Executive Presentations: Regularly present product updates, roadmaps, and key performance metrics to executive leadership.

Critical Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced product leader with a proven track record of success in a similar role within a fast-paced environment. Specific requirements include:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar senior-level position within the technology industry.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working with and influencing multiple stakeholder groups is essential.
  • AI Domain Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of AI concepts and principles. Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) is a nice to have.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges. Data-driven decision-making is critical.
  • Agile Methodology Expertise: Proven experience working within an agile framework (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). Experience leading agile teams is preferred.
  • Proactive and Results-Oriented: Self-motivated, proactive, and action-oriented individual with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Technological Curiosity: A genuine curiosity about new technologies and a visionary mindset for how they can be applied to improve products and services.
