Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telecom Technical Product Manager to join our dynamic IoT and 5G Tech Solutions team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, strong technical acumen, and proven experience in managing the product lifecycle from conception to launch. This role requires a collaborative individual who can work effectively with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver innovative and successful telecom products.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage the product vision, strategy and roadmap for IoT and 5G Connectivity for enterprise clients, aligning with overall business strategy and market trends.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop comprehensive business cases to support product investments, including market sizing, revenue projections, and cost analysis.
- Gather and prioritize customer requirements, translating them into detailed product specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and launch new products and features.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and launch plans.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations to internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating product strategy, progress, and results.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners and vendors, negotiating favorable contracts and ensuring optimal performance.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve product-related issues.
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing telecom products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in product management within the telecommunications or IT industry.
- Very good understanding of telecommunications technologies, including [IoT, 5G, LTE, VoIP, Cloud, AI, etc ].

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
