We are seeking:
We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Architect with experience of the Microsoft Cloud Power platform and Fabric to join our team full-time and contribute to drive the architecture, design, and implementation of Power Platform solutions for our Bimcor’s stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful new integration of Power Platform services with external systems while adhering to best practices and delivering high-quality solutions. You will also contribute to our migration to the full Microsoft 365 rollout currently underway at Bimcor. We are seeking a candidate willing to play a major role in Bimcor’s new data and reporting initiatives that are currently underway.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of enterprise-level data solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, and real-time analytics platforms, using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Azure.
- Demonstrate financial market experience and collaborate with the front office team.
- Design, develop and produce data models of medium to high complexity, leveraging a sound understanding of data modeling standards to ensure high quality.
- Assist in the delivery of processes to extract, transform and load data from disparate sources into a form that is consumable by analytics processes, for projects with moderate complexity, using strong technical capabilities.
- Create strategic dashboards and reports for key stakeholders, including Executives, Financial leaders, Operational leaders, Project/Program Managers
- Collaborate with members of the development and architecture teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions that surpass client expectations while meeting deadlines.
- Train client end-users and junior members of the staff on proper Power Platform development techniques including support for application lifecycle management.
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- In depth experience (5+ years) working with Power Platform services including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents (MS Copilot) as well as DAX, Power Query and MDX.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Warehouse and Fabric.
- Undergraduate studies in finance or accounting or equivalent and familiarity and with Financial Instruments and Interest in building knowledge in this industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English and French.
