As the Programmatic Operations Manager, the candidate will work with Canada's most popular online destinations with millions of unique visitors consuming its entertainment, information and communication services every month.  The Programmatic Operations Manager will support the National and Local Sales teams for all programmatic executions across Bell Media’s digital Brands (CTV, TSN, RDS, Bravo, CP24, The Loop, Sympatico, and more).

 

Responsibilities:

The Programmatic Operations Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain, support and grow our programmatic business offering: 

  • Ensure inventory flow and the programmatic setup maintenance on multiple systems (ad server, SSPs, DSPs,), and support the programmatic account managers and the Ad Operations team members for programmatic-related questions or issues
  • Address technological constraints and general troubleshooting needs with internal teams and external partners (SSPs, ad server, DSPs)
  • Design best practices for programmatic yield optimization and product development based on executions and troubleshoot learnings, evolving tactics and strategies
  • Provide regular reports, work-flow analysis and recommendations with the goal of improving operational efficiency across Bell Media’s programmatic team
  • Assist the Programmatic Associate Director with Sales, Marketing, DevOps and Reporting teams to always better merchandise and develop our Programmatic products and offerings
  • Work closely with the programmatic team on strategies to maximize yield, adjust to technical challenges, answer the buyers’ needs and make our product evolve smoothly in an ever-changing environment
  • Provide advanced custom reporting upon internal and external requests
  • Manage cross-functional migration and tag maintenance projects
  • Other administrative tasks (billing, cost reporting, etc.)

 

 

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience focused on Digital Advertising, with proven platform knowledge (SSP/DSP)
  • Deep knowledge and familiarity with programmatic media trading, RTB related technologies and its players
  • 2 years experience in a programmatic-related role
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of programmatic advertising strategies, and the relationship between DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and Header Bidding technology
  • Strong understanding of the Digital Advertising landscape: how digital media is sold, bought and delivered
  • Substantial experience pulling data and generating advanced reports within an ad serving platform and/or an SSP
  • Excellent attention to detail, possessing analytical abilities to make data-driven decisions
  • Must be technically competent and have a deep knowledge of digital advertising operations and programmatic eco-system
  • Must be curious, motivated, crafty and open-minded to out-of-the-box solutions, driving process development for emerging and innovated executions

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication/Marketing, Economics or related field
  • Advanced MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Powerpoint skills
  • Professional business acumen
  • Financial analysis basics
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Clear, effective, written and verbal communication skills
  • Functional French preferred
  • Strong problem solving skills

Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
