Position Description:

We’re looking for an inspiring leader to join the Bell Media Brand team. The Director of Marketing and Creative will lead a team committed to bringing our company’s rich portfolio of brands to life in Quebec. The candidate will lead our Montreal based team of marketing, creative, production, and media professionals across all our brands in Quebec, including Crave, Noovo and RDS.

 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record leading marketing and creative teams that drive output and results. They will work autonomously to plan and develop a roadmap and goals for performance across multiple brands, bringing their substantial experience working on large, integrated advertising campaigns, from conception to execution. Critical to success will be experience with traditional and digital media, from both a marketing communication and creative development perspective, as well as knowledge of the Quebec market.

 

This position reports to the VP, Brand, Marketing and Creative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a large team of creative (design, writing, editing, production) and marketing (strategy, planning, media) professionals
  • Translate business objectives to develop consumer marketing and creative production plans, working closely with cross-functional teams including content, sales, PR and direct to consumer
  • Oversee the development of media strategies across both internal Bell Media and external media platforms
  • Lead the development and production of creative projects across the organization
  • Bring big ideas to the table, obtain buy-in and effectively and efficiently implement ideas at scale
  • Draw from consumer research and insights to lead product marketing strategies and development, go-to-market plans and brand strategies to acquire, grow and retain customers
  • Present to senior leadership to update on key metrics and progress to goals; set mechanisms to operationalize timely status updates

Critical Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams focused on creative and marketing communications with a solid foundation in both traditional and digital marketing
  • A dynamic leader, excellent communicator, strong team player and can be flexible and adaptive to the ever-changing and competitive media/entertainment landscape
  • A creative mind, challenging the status quo with desire for innovation
  • Ability to think strategically and operationally
  • Bilingual, fluent in spoken and written French and English
  • Good understanding of financial processes and proven ability to manage budgets
  • Background in the entertainment industry an asset
  • Background in direct to consumer, digital product marketing an asset
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
