Position profile:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Products, the Director, Digital Projects oversees the operations, positioning and monetization of digital brands under their responsibility. The incumbent’s main objectives will involve boosting revenues and usage statistics, increasing the consumption of video content, supporting the development of Bell Media digital offerings and participating in the digital transformation.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Manage a team of product managers and ensure the department’s smooth operations.
  • Develop product strategies, set priorities and plan activities to help achieve objectives.
  • Meet revenue targets: support the Marketing Manager in optimizing and developing new sources of revenue, and work with Media Creativity and the sales teams to develop and deliver attractive offers for advertisers.
  • Together with the Director, Digital Media, establish key performance indicators, monitor them and make sure they are met.
  • Ensure that original content projects (video and text) are aimed at achieving performance and revenue targets with respect to brand positioning and established budgets.
  • In collaboration with the Director, Digital Products (TV and Video), make sure that the digital brands are involved in television brand positioning and in expanding its scope, while supporting the evolution of Bell Media’s digital offering.
  • Together with the Director, Digital Products (TV and Video), prioritize the different product developments in accordance with strategic roadmaps.
  • Working with other product managers, develop multi-brand and multi-platform strategies.
  • In partnership with the other departments, actively contribute to the digital transformation.

 

Qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Minimum education of a bachelor’s degree and five years’ experience in digital media, including at least one year in team management.
  • A passion for digital media and Québec culture, and an excellent understanding of the target audiences and market realities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to learn and adapt to constantly changing environments.
  • Ability to show empathy and a positive attitude regarding teamwork; excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, key stages and initiatives.

Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
