The Corporate Communications team is responsible for content production and management of various internal and external communication channels.
The selected candidate will work with the Senior Manager, Linguistic services, Digital communications and their team to ensure the quality of French in corporate communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support internal clients with French language services and advice.
- Collaborate on various digital communications projects to provide French language services to clients: edit, adapt, translate and proofread a wide range of documents in French, including emails from executives, presentations, newsletters, intranet articles, video subtitles, as well as external communications and social media publications.
- Ensure that corporate content is aligned with the company's style, tone and culture, in clear, simple and dynamic language.
- Ensure coordination and follow-up on requests.
- Support internal resources and the translation service provider to improve the quality of translations and maintain French glossaries and terminology.
- Participate in communication or training projects aimed at improving the quality of French communications and refining communication processes to promote efficiency.
- Create specialized content in French.
- Support the integration of inclusive language in our communications.
Critical Qualifications
- Excellent editing, proofreading and writing skills in French.
- Excellent translation skills from English to French.
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of degrees in communications, translation, editing, journalism, public relations, linguistics or other related disciplines.
- Proficiency in M365 Office (especially Outlook, Word and PowerPoint — Excel is an asset), Antidote, machine translation tools.
- 2–3 years of experience in a corporate communications role, writing for a corporate intranet or website, translating or editing French documents.
- Strong sense of teamwork, ability to take the initiative and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills suitable for collaborating with multiple stakeholders at all levels of management.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and supporting clients in achieving their goals.
- Ability to simplify information.
- Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple projects from various internal clients.
- Creativity, autonomy, good humor, value teamwork and team spirit.
