Job Description:

Reporting to the Director, Digital Products in Quebec, the successful candidate will lead the development, management and maintenance of all digital products in the Lifestyle & Entertainment portfolio on mobile web, mobile products, online sites and emerging platforms.  The manager will work closely with the product, content, development, project management, research, and engineering teams, as well as other stakeholders to drive content and video consumption, as well as to create an exceptional performance experience across platforms that supports Bell Media’s digital business and brand goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy and roadmap for content back-end management and front-end delivery of all digital products to take account the market, customer needs and Bell Media’s business needs.
  • Support the digital teams for Bell Media in Quebec and support ad and revenue opportunities
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance the customer experience; define and analyze metrics that inform the success of the product
  • Report on status of all digital projects in progress and performance of products in-market, and identify market opportunities
  • Be a product owner for the digital products including but not limited to:
    • Lead the ideatin of the launch / enhancements of innovative products
    • Build business cases t support new initiatives
    • Establish shared visin across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution and delivery of value
    • Hld the vision of the product and represent the customer, market and organization interests to the team
    • Effectively translate the digital radmap into clear and concise product requirements for each brand and initiative, considering functional needs, supported use cases, an agile development environment, and KPI criteria

 

Qualifications and capabilities:

  • 3+ years of experience in a product management or digital environment
  • Ability to translate organizational vision into a product vision
  • Experience with agile project / product management and ability to be an effective product owner
  • Thorough understanding of industry trends, regulations, market trends and competition.
  • Working knowledge of the development flow and technologies involved in the delivery of products and features
  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Comfort with technological solutions and terminology
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian suite of tools
  • PMP certification, an asset
  • Media experience is a plus
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial drive with a passion for product excellence and partner success

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
