Responsibilities:

SHOPICO.ca is a transactional web platform owned by Bell Media. On this website, the visitor can purchase gift certificates at bargain prices that are, in turn, exchangeable for goods or services offered by renowned merchants. This service also allows merchants to finance their radio, television or Out-of-Home advertising campaigns, or advertising campaigns using various digital platforms owned by Bell Media, mainly in the province of Quebec.

 

First and foremost, the candidate will provide customer service to SHOPICO.ca’s consumers. In addition, the individual will support daily operations along with the other SHOPICO.ca team members.

 

More specifically, the position-holder must:

  • Provide customer service to consumers, including technical support, answering telephone calls, e-mails, social media posts or in person; help coordinate the distribution team in charge of preparing orders for clients
  • Provide follow-ups for certificates that are both sold and reimbursed, in collaboration with the team
  • Operationally, act as a point of contact for his/her colleagues. He/she coordinates material from the sales’ team and their clients for the online release of their various promotions ; Coordinate the integration of written and visual content via a CMS (Content Management System)
  • Carry out all other related tasks delegated by the supervisor

 

Skills required:

  • A background in after-sales service, an important asset
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional environment
  • Experience in the fields of web and new media
  • Organizational skills, resourcefulness and adaptability
  • Skills in communication and socialization, with a great capacity to maintain good interpersonal relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingualism (English and French), both spoken and written

 

Bilingualism is required (English and French).
