Overview:

The Bell Media Strategic Insights team is seeking a passionate individual with a unique analytical curiosity to uncover insights. Under the supervision of the Senior Strategic Insights Manager, this role requires a candidate with exceptional presentation and analytic skills. Using research insights, the candidate will prove the relevance of the Out-of-Home channel to new and existing clients.  This candidate will lead projects within a team environment to advocate for the Out-of-Home channel externally to marketers, direct clients and ad agencies and internally to national and local sales teams across Canada. The candidate will have extensive experience in an advertising agency, media agency and/or media sales company in order to develop ideas and communicate.

Responsibilities:

  • The “Senior Analyst, Strategic Insights” will play a leadership role in leveraging Out-of-Home media, mobile and smart data internally and with advertising agencies and clients.
  • Strategic Insights Senior Analyst will be working with various stakeholders to create innovative and customized insights that drive increased advertising revenue primarily in Out-of-Home media and mobile advertising.
  • With a thorough understanding of the advertising media ecosystem and the consumer decision journey - translate the agencies’ business needs into concrete smart data projects and lead those projects from inception through post-implementation monitoring.
  • Establish credibility and trust with internal and external partners to become a key advisor and deliver value beyond the scope of requests. Convincingly communicate with them to explain the benefits, limits and requirements of proposed media and smart data solutions. Build compelling customized presentations to various stakeholders.
  • Respond to daily analysis & insights requests from sales various stakeholders; proactively solve diversified business problems with analytics and provide actionable insights
  • Stay up to date on Out-of-Home, traditional media trends, including smart data marketing and mobile.
  • Training/mentoring analysts; build and deliver training sessions to key stakeholders
  • Proficiency in media analytics (Mobile, Digital, TV, radio, Out-of-Home).
  • Collaborate with other insights analysts to generate business revenue

     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in advertising media research. Very strong knowledge of the advertising ecosystem, measurement methods, media planning & buying processes.
  • Thorough understanding of the consumer decision process (marketing funnel), segmentation and marketing optimization.
  • Advanced skills using spreadsheet and presentation tools such as: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong project management skills and proven ability to lead cross-functional mandates and deliver actionable insights.
  • Strong relationship management skills; ability to collaborate and rally key business partners (clients, agencies, internal partners) around new projects.
  • Performs well in an environment with competing priorities and multiple projects. (strong organizational and time management skills)
  • Positive attitude, resourceful and takes initiative in executional elements of processes
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate is critical
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

 

Bilingualism (English and French) is a requirement.
