At the forefront of our transformation, our team is responsible for the development and operations the network automation platform supporting Bell’s SDN and NFV network strategy. In this role looking for skills from both a software development and networking altogether, you will participate to the entire lifecycle development of innovative software solutions that will support our vision towards an automated, self-optimized and self-healed network. We are seeking a creative and innovative Senior Software Architect/Developer who will help us build our future.

We are seeking:
•    A candidate with 5-10 years of software full stack development expertise; but if you think you can step up to the challenge you should apply!
•    Someone who is familiar with the best software development practices (CI/CD, code review, testing)
•    Hands-on DevOps experience (Gerritt, Jenkins, jira)
•    Develop new software and improve the performance of existing software
•    Solid expertise in software debugging and root cause analysis
•    Experience with GO and Python
•    Hands-on experience with 
o    JSON schema and Rest/RestConf API development
o    grpc, gnmi, Netconf, SNMP, and WebSocket
o    Linux (KVM, OpenStack, RHEL, Ubuntu) application deployment
o    Data model, Yang, YAML, MongoDB, MariaDB, HA proxy, Kafka, and Kubernetes
•    Hands-on experience and/or certification (CCNA, CCNP, etc..) on networking equipment configuration
•    Someone enthusiastic who can quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, with a strong aptitude for innovation
•    Someone who can slice and dice a business/system problem into an easy modular and maintainable solution with your team
•    A team player who can define, establish and communicate their long term vision, who is adaptable to uncertain and changing needs
•    A candidate with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills (A good sense of humour is a bonus!)


If you have one of these, it’s even better:
•    You have experience in SDN ecosystem development and vendor management
•    You are familiar with networking architecture concepts
•    You have hands-on experience with cloud (specifically GCP: google cloud platform and AWS: amazon web services)
•    You have experience contributing to open-source projects








Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
