This position is within the Bell Media Agency Quebec, which is made up of experts in various fields who are dedicated to promoting our company’s rich portfolio of brands in Quebec across all touchpoints. As part of the agency, the marketing team manages all Bell Media brands so that they connect with consumers in a constantly evolving environment. Everyone works closely with other departments to achieve Bell Media’s business objectives.


Working in tandem with colleagues from media services, creative services, production and post-production, all of which are integrated into the Bell Media Agency Quebec, you and your team will oversee the marketing of various Bell Media brands to Quebec consumers.


The marketing director must work in accordance with the standards recognized and established by the company, the department’s objectives and Bell Media’s mission and values. 

Nature and Scope of Position:

  • Within the Agency, the marketing director is fully responsible for the brands assigned to him or her, including both their on-air and off-air identity. He or she must manage all marketing activities for these brands with the aim of maximizing their visibility and audience
  • Working with his or her team to plan, develop and manage annual consumer marketing plans, including strategies and action plans, in close collaboration with colleagues in content programming and/or other relevant departments
  • Establishing promo activity strategies for both internal Bell Media and external platforms in close collaboration with the Agency’s media director and her team
  • Actively participating in the development of brand campaigns along with colleagues from creative services
  • Closely collaborating with other departments, such as communications and public relations, affiliate marketing and digital sales

Knowledge and Skills:

  • At least 10 years of experience in marketing communications, with a strong grounding in both traditional and digital marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing
  • Knowledge of the television industry and traditional/digital media
  • Excellent personnel management skills and relevant experience
  • Strong capacity for teamwork, leadership and creativity
  • Excellent capacity for leading multiple projects simultaneously, ability to accurately evaluate priorities at both the macro and micro levels, and results-focused approach
  • Comfortable interacting with a range of specialists in various fields within a creative and production environment
  • Effective team leader and good listener with a positive, constructive attitude who fully empowers, supports and inspires his or her colleagues and is detail-oriented while clearly recognizing which issues are difference-makers.
  • Excellent ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes within a highly competitive, constantly evolving industry   
  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)


Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
