Key Responsibilities
- Lead the French-language programming strategy for Crave, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budget discipline, and platform performance.
- Define content needs across original productions and acquisitions, and oversee execution in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Own long-term content planning, supporting subscriber acquisition and retention while maintaining a balanced and competitive content mix.
- Drive data-informed decision-making by analyzing content performance, audience behavior, and key performance indicators.
- Oversee editorial merchandising and content presentation (collections, thematic curation, placement, and partnerships) to improve discoverability, engagement, and reduce churn.
- Provide strategic analysis and insights to cross-functional teams (Content, Product, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Insights, Partnerships) to support planning and execution.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities in close partnership with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams.
- Define content deployment and windowing strategies to maximize return on investment for originals and acquisitions.
- Act as the primary programming lead for Crave, representing content priorities and performance in platform growth initiatives.
- Perform other related responsibilities as required.
Critical Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in OTT platforms, digital media, and streaming ecosystems.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Proven experience in content merchandising, editorial strategy, and audience targeting.
- Solid understanding of the Québec market and cultural landscape, including local content dynamics and consumer behavior.
- Experience leveraging data and AI-enabled tools to improve content performance, workflows, and operational efficiency.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and engage teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to operate effectively in complex and fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Strong understanding of Bell Media’s portfolio of products and services.
- University degree in media, business, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in digital media, OTT platforms, or content strategy roles.
- Bilingual (French and English), written and spoken.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
