  • Work with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain innovative security software & applications
  • Work with Architecture team to understand business requirements
  • Work with Architecture & Design teams to define security requirements and ensure applications meet them
  • Responsible for the prioritization of the projects in collaboration with Project management office, architects and team leads
  • Contribute to project meetings and report on issue status
  • Champion Security and foster best practices in the DevSecOps context
  • Ensure with team leads, adoption and respect of strict Secure-SDLC practices and BCE development standards
  • Participate in discussions with team leads for technical decision and standards affecting all the development team
  • Participate in, and improve the Continuous Integration and the Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) cycle and processes
  • Participate in resolving development and operational issues in timely fashion
  •  Handle escalated issues and follow up on outstanding items promptly


Key Technical Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of programming, Design Patterns and Software Architecture (Python/Django, JavaScript)
  • Backend development or Full-Stack development
  • Good expertise with Test Driven Development and Agile Development
  • Good expertise of CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab Runners and/or Jenkins
  • Good expertise in SQL and Non-SQL database
  • Good expertise in automation solutions (Ansible)
  • Good experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL/CentOS)
  • Experience designing in RESTful architectural style, including JSON format, is an asset
  • Knowledge of security principles and tools (SCM, SAST, SCA, etc.) an asset

    • Code quality and security (SonarQube, Checkmarx, JFrog Xray)





Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
