Job status: Temporary - Full Time (6-month replacement with possibility of extension)

Mission 

 

The Bell Media Agency Quebec team is made up of experts in various fields who are dedicated to promoting our company’s rich portfolio of brands across all touchpoints. The Agency’s brand marketing management team is a group of passionate professionals with the skills needed to manage all of Bell Media’s brands within a constantly evolving environment. Everyone works closely with other departments to achieve Bell Media’s business objectives.

 

Within the Agency, the marketing team manages all Bell Media brands to reach consumers in a constantly changing environment. Everyone works in synergy with other departments to achieve Bell Media’s business objectives.  The Social Media Specialist works with colleagues from the Bell Media Agency Québec and internal/external partners and has a key role in bringing the various Bell Media brands to social media networks for Québec consumers.  

 

The incumbent must work according to the Standards recognized and implemented by the company, the sector objectives, the mission and values of Bell Media.

Nature and Scope of Position

As part of the Agency, the Social media specialist shall: 

 

  • Planning, defining and implementing content strategies on social media platforms
  • Developing strategies and ensuring execution of our various influencer campaigns
  • Writing, developing and producing content
  • Supervising (managing and moderating) Noovo communities on all platforms
  • Creating paid campaigns on our various social media platforms
  • Analyzing and producing reports on various community and campaign statistics as well as making recommendations
  • Developing and implementing the content calendar and establishing related concepts based on the objectives that have been set
  • Serving as a consultant for the marketing teams involved in various Bell Media brands
  • Providing recommendations and solutions to team members based on the results obtained and serving as a resource by always keeping up to date with social media trends
  • Identifying and evaluating opportunities to create and share content based on brand priorities in order to increase engagement and traffic from social media to our platforms (noovo.ca)
  • Ensuring production of content (blogs, videos, photos, banners, etc.) in collaboration with our internal graphic creation team
  • Administration and other assigned tasks

Knowledge and Skills

  • DEC or Bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing or relevant experience
  • Familiarity with the following digital tools: Google Analytics, Google Ads and Keyword Planner, Google Trends, Facebook Insights, Facebook Business Manager, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Trello, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, Slack 
  • Expertise in using content production tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva)
  • Knowledge of digital best practices (SEO, digital ads, web banners, YouTube videos, etc.) 
  • Ability to write ad copy (in French)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Organized and structured
  • Have very good knowledge of French and grammar
  • Knowledge of English required: In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience with managing influencer campaigns
