Description:

The work force management software development team is responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting field services control center applications and reports.

Our team work closely with control center and field managers to discover opportunities, increase synergy and improve productivity by providing application solution.

Responsabilities:

  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and users aligned with business objectives and translate into documented functional requirements and design specification
  • Examine functional specifications and translate them into system guidelines that shape project development
  • Identify potential issues between systems and business specifications and propose new working solutions
  • Work closely with project stakeholders and developers to find opportunites to improve application time to market and sustainability by determining project’s scope before developers begin any major work
  • Conduct research by considering current infrastructure asset, opportunities and information security for applications improvement and integration.
  • Oversee developers and integration activities, clarify, answer questions and help to resolve issues as they arise
  • Learn company IT processes and facilitate project integration by providing guidelines and milestones to team members

 

 

 

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork, problem-solving and curiosity
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle
  • High level of technical literacy and application development design
  • Strong experience in database (ex:SQL Server) and application (ex: Java, .NET Web) solution design
  • Experience with project management system like JIRA
  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

 

 

Other beneficial skills:

  • Experience with SQL queries
  • Experience with DevOps practice
  • Experience with Docker (Openshift)

Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
