We are seeking:

  • 3 years or more hands-on working experience with tools from the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Impala, Solr, Kafka, Spark and others) on high volume, high velocity, and high variety data; structured, semi-structured and unstructured
  • 2 or more years of full-stack software development and application design in Java, Python, Scala, JavaScript
  • Hands on experience in using Statistics and Mathematics skills to analyze complex datasets, identify complex correlations in data and perform predictive modelling
  • Knowledge at applying Machine Learning methods and algorithms
  • Experience with ETL technologies and approaches
  • Experience building a large consumer database with knowledge of how to track both known and unknown profiles for actionable CRM tactics
  • Strong knowledge of media audience data and customer behaviour in digital space
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Communicating complex engineering concepts succinctly to all audiences
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

 

If you have one of the following, it’s even better:

  • Bachelors or higher educations in computer science, math, applied science / engineering, or equivalent experiences
  • Experience with utilizing and applying knowledge of technologies such as Apache Prediction IO, Google Machine Learning or Deep learning
  • Experience with Adobe Cloud Platform (AEM, Launch, Analytics, Target…)
  • Experience with mentoring and training with other team members
  • Familiarity with front end technologies (HTML 5, responsive design, CSS 3, Angular, JQuery)

Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
