Bell Media is looking for the next great Afternoon Drive personality to join the team at EZ Rock in Nelson, BC. We're looking for a passionate Personality & Social Media butterfly that can run a tight, music filled show... and Facebook and Tweet in a concise style. As well as on-air hosting, you will be collaborating with the Regional Music Director to ensure amazing music programming for the station’s AC format.

We are looking for someone who thrives on working as part of a team, who is also a responsible self-starter who is comfortable with minimal day to day supervision and who is an energetic and positive influence in the building.   We want to read your resume and cover letter, but more than that we need to hear your work - so be sure to include links to your SoundCloud or YouTube demo!



    • Regular on-air afternoon shift.
    • Preparing, planning, and executing your show including researching and conducting interviews.
    • Above average Social Media skills on Facebook and Twitter
    • Must LOVE Remote broadcasts and station appearances.
    • Voice tracks when required
    • Production/voice overs needed at times
    • Collaborate with Regional Music Director on music programming
    • Daily log merging, reconciling, Canadian Content monitoring, weekly Can Con Reports and monthly SOCAN Reports.
    • Other duties as required from time to time.

Skill Requirements

    • Post-secondary education in broadcasting or related experience preferred.
    • At least 3 years on-air experience (outside of school).Must be extremely motivated and a self-starter.
    • Knowledge of Wide Orbit and Operation of broadcast console an asset.
    • Knowledge of Adobe Audition an asset
    • The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
    • Strong communication, writing and creativity.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
    • Have genuine interest in current events of the communities that we broadcast to.
    • A valid class 5 BC driver’s license (or equivalent). Clean abstract required.


Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
