The Role:

As an Account Executive you will be leading the drive sales of multi-platform media products (radio, digital, SMS, others) for our Energie 98.9 and 107,5 Rouge FM radio stations.

This is a great opportunity for seasoned, B2B sales professional to be part of one of the strongest sales teams within the industry. The team is seeking individuals who are ‘’hunters’’, results oriented,  people thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment, and have past success improving revenue, productivity and quality results.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain meetings with new and established clients through prospecting and cold calling.
  • Develop new revenue streams from unassigned accounts by prospecting new local businesses opportunities through broadcast and digital platforms using company resources (i.e. creative, production, research, traffic, promotions).
  • Understand client’s short and long term challenges and needs (diagnostic interview).
  • Create and deliver strategic proposals that suit the customers’ needs  
  • Negotiate contracts and close business deals.
  • Provide on-going information and support to ensure optimal client service and become a sustaining resource.
  • Provide call planning and reporting as required.
  • Manage receivables and collections.

     

Skills and requirements:

  • Degree in sales, marketing or equivalent;
  • 5 Years of media sales experience;
  • Solid network of contacts in the greater Quebec City area;
  • Communication and listening skills;
  • Analytical personality; 
  • Honesty and professional integrity;
  • Avid negotiation skills;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Knowledge of web (a plus);
  • Must have a car and a valid work permit

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
