Position:
Reporting to the Senior Manager - National Sales, the account executive specializes in French-language television and RDS to create and sell integrated proposals to national clients. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive and strategic sales proposals 
  • Exceed client expectations by proactively building, fostering and managing key direct and agency relationships
  • Prospect and develop new business 
  • Collaborate and create multi-platform sales opportunities and cross-channel brand partnerships campaigns
  • Generate sales reports including projections, pacing, and pending opportunities
  • Use insights and marketing data to create robust presentations
  • Participating in relevant industry activities 
  • Mediate effectively with all sales support teams including Traffic, Insights, Client Strategy, Programming, Marketing and Revenue Management

 

Qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, business or related field
  • Minimum five years’ sales experience or equivalent
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional client service and relationship management
  • Self-motivated to meet and exceed sales objectives
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, multitask, and excel under pressure
  • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a healthy team dynamic 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail 
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • IBMS experience preferred

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
