Bell's preferred agency OSL is looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to fulfill the role of Specialist – Channel Sales to support the The Bell Technical Solutions department. 

 

The successful candidate will drive sales results through development and mentoring of frontline technicians and leaders to generate a sustainable lift in performance under the Bell Technical Solution banner. The Sales specialist will hold in class session as well as facilitate training on location in order to provide support and coaching. The position will require employees that are flexible in hours of operation and are willing to put the time into the job to provide our customers with top quality service. 

 

Job duties / Accountabilities:

  • Consistently hold up-to-date knowledge of all BRS Products and services, pricing and offers, systems and processes of our Sales channels.
  • Organize blitzes and events on the different BST sites to promote sales and the BST lean generation program.
  • Deliver training to new and existing technicians on-site during garage activities.
  • Collaborate with technicians, Sales and marketing teams to provide the best in training experience; this would be the desired end state, with key emphasis on the design delivery of the knowledge.
  • Monitor and evaluate quality standards within the Bell technical solution Channel.
  • Regularly audit internal and vendor processes to ensure adherence to channel expectations.
  • Develop strong partnership with the business partners in order to develop a solid understanding of the business; seeks to understand business trends so that effective recommendations on sales practices correspond with business direction
  • Recommends evaluation criteria and measures
  • Facilitate training during various garage blitzes, in-class sessions and one-to-one sessions.
  • Tracking sales results based on previous visits to gauge personal achievement
  • Developing post mortems to share with Senior management relating to hype activities, offers or sales programs

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Must have a valid driver license and vehicle
  • Strong leadership, training and coaching skills
  • The ability to effectively handle multiple, high priority tasks, at the same time
  • Strong and confident, an  independent thinker
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop an environment which inspires employee involvement and teamwork
  • PC Proficient - MS Office, Windows environment
  • Sales experience is considered an asset
  • Strong decision making, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Bell's ordering, installation and billing systems and processes.
  • Telecommunications industry experience is an asset
