The Bell Canada Pension Group manages a large complex portfolio of pension plans with assets exceeding $20 billion. We provide strategic design, administration, communication, registration, and actuarial services for a wide range of business units across Bell Canada and its affiliates.
Our team combines actuarial excellence with hands-on operational execution. As a Consultant on our team, you will collaborate with seasoned actuarial professionals and gain unparalleled exposure to large-scale pension plan governance, financial reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of actuarial valuations and funding projections for various defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and maintain robust audit trails
- Assist in the annual production of audited financial statements and ensure high accuracy.
- Assist with federal and provincial government regulatory filings and ensure adherence to pension legislation.
- Identify and implement efficiencies in reporting workflows, including through Excel automation.
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 2–3 years of experience in an actuarial or pension-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel formulas, VBA, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Rigorous attention to detail, speed, and exceptional accuracy under tight reporting timelines.
- Proactive mindset with a proven ability to take ownership and resolve issues independently.
- Highly collaborative spirit with a love for working in a fast-paced team environment.
- Bilingualism required: In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
