Key Responsibilities

  • Access, design, implementation, integration and testing of network connectivity between SIM /eSIM enabler platforms and down/up stream platforms.
  • Support operations of network connectivity for stable and optimal performance. Take active part in incident escalations.
  • Support operations of Entitlement/SIM enabler platforms, including establishment/monitoring of platform metrics, support for maintenance activities, and trouble-shooting /resolution of issues as required.
  • Performs critical analysis, cross functional issue investigation/resolution, and demonstrate success in delivering tools, processes, and technical resolutions to team/product challenges based on impact (time, resources, cost) as a priority.
  • Assess, design, implementation, integration and testing of Entitlement and SIM/eSIM enabler platforms, solutions and features in Bell’s network.
  • Be part of framework development/enhancement for continuous improvement of assessment, design, implementation, integration, testing and lifecycle management support of Entitlement and SIM/eSIM enabler platforms.

Critical Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years industry experience, preferably in IP routing and switching
  • Strong knowledge and experience in IP networking including cloud networking
  • Knowledge and experience of software development on Microservices, Openstack architecture
  • University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and trouble-shooting of software solutions and services
  • Possesses the willingness and mindset to dive into technologies or methodologies not familiar with to understand and leverage their benefits to deliver best services/features to end customers
  • Interested in working with technology specialists/architects and developers to transform the way the work is done within the team to achieve self operating/healing network enabler platforms
  • Natural leader of people, who understands the needs of the individual and adjust based on team mission and operational goals
  • Show effective use of listening skills with behavior of openness to respect everyone’s view point

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience is IP routing and switching
  • Previous experience on solution development and introduction in mobile networks
  • Experience with database / search technologies such as Couchbase, Elastisearch and Splunk
  • Experience in applying scrum/agile methodology
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with a good sense of humour.
