Position Description:

Reporting to the Sr. Product Manager, Digital Advertisement, this position will act as the point of contact between product, sales, ad operations and technical teams.  The successful candidate will lead the vision, development, management and maintenance of all digital sales related products for all Bell Media brands across desktop, mobile, and emerging platforms.  The manager will work together with multiple teams with the ultimate goal of increasing revenue in innovative ways. The individual will specialize in ad technology but will ultimately be trained as a multi-functioning, multi-talented product manager

 

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Act as key contact for all sales related technical requests, mediating business analysis and implementation processes
  • Support the digital sales and operations teams across the country and support ad and revenue opportunities
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance the customer experience; define and analyze metrics that inform the success of the product
  • Report on status of all digital projects in progress and performance of products in-market, and identify market opportunities
  • Be a product owner for all Bell Media brands, including but not limited to:
    • Lead the ideation of the launch / enhancements of innovative products
    • Build business cases to support new initiatives
    • Create Proactive sales packages and supporting reactive sales pitches
    • Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution and delivery of value
    • Hold the vision of the product and represent the customer, market and organization interests to the team

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • 3+ years of experience in a product management and/or digital sales environment
  • Ability to translate extremely complex technical concepts into simplified product guides
  • Experience with agile project / product management and ability to be an effective product owner
  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Comfort with technological sales solutions and terminology
  • Media experience is a plus
  • Web coding, design, animation or any sort of content development skills are ideal but not required
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial drive with a passion for product excellence and partner success
