Summary

The Director, AI Advisory & Value Creation is a senior individual contributor within Bell’s AI organization, responsible for providing deep AI expertise, strategic advisory, and value focused insight to executive leadership, customers, and internal stakeholders. This role serves as a trusted AI subject matter authority, helping leadership remain at the forefront of AI developments while translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business and commercial value. The Director supports strategic decisions, client engagements, and market positioning by bridging AI technology, client needs, and enterprise priorities, and plays a key role in shaping how AI is understood, positioned, and applied across Bell.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted AI advisor to executive leadership, supporting strategic decisions, investments, and positioning decisions
  • Provide deep expertise on AI trends, capabilities, and use cases to keep the organization at the cutting edge of AI
  • Support client facing engagements by translating complex AI concepts into clear, compelling business and value narratives
  • Contribute to sales and customer discussions as a credible AI expert, similar to a senior technical advisor or sales engineer
  • Develop point of view materials, research briefs, and executive insights related to AI, emerging technologies, and industry trends
  • Conduct targeted research on AI advancements, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to inform leadership and clients
  • Partner with internal teams across AI, Sales, Technology, and Strategy to align AI capabilities with customer and market needs
  • Provide expert input into go to market narratives, value propositions, and executive level presentations
  • Support time bound advisory initiatives and special projects related to AI economics, platform strategy, and innovation
  • Influence outcomes through credibility, expertise, and quality of insight rather than formal authority


 

Critical Qualifications

  • 12–15+ years of experience in AI advisory, consulting, corporate strategy, or senior technical advisory roles
  • Demonstrated depth of expertise in artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, or related emerging technologies
  • Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to executive, commercial, and client audiences
  • Experience in client facing or executive facing roles requiring credibility, influence, and advisory presence
  • Proven research, analytical, and synthesis skills, with the ability to translate insight into business value
  • Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor with high autonomy and independent judgment
  • Strong executive communication skills, including experience supporting leadership discussions and decisions
  • Background in consulting or advisory environments is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is an asset


 

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
