Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Director of Marketing to lead the strategic planning and execution of all marketing initiatives focused on residential and mobility services for Bell and Virgin brands. This critical leadership role requires proven success in managing large-scale marketing programs, and a data-driven approach to maximizing customer lifetime value and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication, and team management skills, capable of driving innovation and achieving ambitious business objectives in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement integrated marketing plans for internet, television, and mobility services, focusing on cross-selling and upselling to existing customers.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of marketers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Direct outbound telemarketing priorities and strategy, optimizing strategies to maximize ROI.
- Develop and manage digital remarketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., Google Ads, social media, email) to re-engage customers who have shown interest but haven't converted.
- Leverage customer data and market research to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance. Leverage customer data to identify high-potential cross-sell/upsell opportunities, segment customers based on usage patterns and needs, and personalize marketing messages. Conduct rigorous A/B testing to identify the most effective marketing messages, channels, and offers.
- Manage significant marketing budgets, ensuring efficient and effective resource allocation.
- Work closely with sales, customer service, product development, data analytics, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with overall business objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency, leveraging new technologies and innovative marketing approaches.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing marketing performance, providing insights, and making recommendations for future improvements.
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large-scale marketing programs and achieving ambitious targets.
- Deep understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems, marketing automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive marketing decisions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing and mentoring high-performing marketing teams.
