Hours of Work: 24 hours per week and as needed
Summary
Bell Media productions are currently seeking a dynamic individual to help coordinate and assist maintain sets for their morning shows
Responsibilities
- Follow daily rundown & take direction from the Floor Director, or designate, on specific production needs
- Assist with movement of sets and props during the live show
- Assist with coordination and maintenance of the props and set storage areas
- Tidy up & wash production dishes from kitchen segments, and keep the production kitchen clean & organized
- Assist the set stylist as needed
- Hiatus periods are unpaid unless other duties are assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience in a television environment recommended
- Ability to collaborate with production staff, set dec team and other stagehands is crucial
- Ability to lift / maneuverer up to 50lbs
- Valid driver’s license Class G is an asset
- Experience with carpentry and general hand and power tools is an asset
- Comfort on a standard A-Frame Ladder is an asset
- Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications is an asset
Working condition:
- Applicant must be able to find own transportation to office for 5am Monday – Friday
