Summary
As a FP&A Manager within Bell Business Markets (BBM), you will play a key role in supporting the financial performance of a portfolio of products and services through leadership in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis. Acting as a trusted business partner, you will work closely with leaders across Finance, Sales, Product, and Operations to deliver timely insights, identify risks and opportunities, and drive informed decision-making.
The successful candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen, excels in a dynamic environment, and is passionate about transforming data into actionable recommendations that support the achievement of BBM's financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly reporting, forecasting, annual budget, long-range planning, and outlook processes for an assigned BBM Wireless portfolio.
- Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business insights to support planning, forecasting accuracy, and decision-making.
- Own the financial performance of the portfolio, including revenue, operating expenses, and gross margin, ensuring timely reporting and variance analysis.
- Monitor key business drivers, customer trends, and operational metrics to identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
- Act as the primary finance partner to business leaders, providing financial guidance and actionable recommendations to support growth and profitability objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Pricing, and Operations teams to evaluate initiatives, market opportunities, customer impacts, and performance trends.
- Prepare and deliver financial reporting, executive presentations, and management insights for senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, governance requirements, and reporting standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, automation, and use of data-driven insights.
Critical Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA designation (or equivalent professional accounting designation).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial reporting, forecasting, or business partnering roles.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and analytical skills.
- Experience managing a revenue-generating P&L and supporting executive-level reporting, forecasting, and planning processes in a complex business environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Telecommunications, technology, or enterprise services experience is considered an asset.
- Experience with SAP, Alteryx, Anaplan,AI-enabled tools, or financial reporting systems is an asset.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
