The Role:
 

The Consumer and Media Products team is seeking a customer-focused product manager with a proven track record of successfully building and delivering consumer and/or media products & services. As a Product Manager, you will champion the product development life cycle while collaborating with other high-performance professionals across business units. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the Product Manager will develop innovative and differentiated products and services, interfacing with stakeholders while managing and supporting the product portfolio.
 
Your Key Responsibilities:


•    Lead the development of new consumer and media products including developing product requirements, concept design and architecture strategy in collaboration with multiple business units (i.e. IT, network technology, billing, customer care, and marketing)
•    Engage and influence cross-functional teams to deliver complex customer-focused products and services
•    Create and document product scope/requirements, roadmap/vision, project schedules/milestones, and operation workflow
•    Support business case justification for new product investment through ideation, funding, design & execution
•    Define customer-focused launch strategies, post-launch support, reporting and analytics
•    Manage product releases & define take-to-market activities (Customer support, client care, testing, and operating plan) and post launch management
•    Track and analyze performance of solutions through the various stages of the product lifecycle and identify opportunities or areas of improvement
•    Assesses market competition and make recommendations based on market research & competitive intelligence
•    Monitor and understand market evolution with 5G, customer and channel feedback, competitive landscape, industry trends, evolving customer needs and translate them into opportunities for growth
•    Develop new business models and operating plans with product and technology evolution
•    Manage partner relationships including contract negotiations, validating technologies and managing roadmaps

 

 

Your Key competencies:


•    4+ years of practical end to end experience in product management and/or business development
•    Excellent interpersonal & collaborative skills with a strong track record of influencing and engaging teams to execute in 'first-of-a-kind' business conditions
•    Technically inclined with an interest and ability to understand how to leverage technology to solve real-customer problems
•    Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, ability to translate quantitative data into qualitative analysis
•    Self-starter, with the ability to drive projects with limited supervision and manage multiple deliverables in an organized manner
•    Detail oriented with an ability to analyze complex and ambiguous information to provide insights and solutions
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills
•    Experience building executive-level presentations and to deliver recommendations with confidence
•    Solid MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other digital virtual communication platforms (i.e. Jira, Miro, etc)
 
 Education/Experience


•    At least 4+ years of Product Management experience or relevant business experience
•    Experience in AGILE methodology is an asset
•    Working knowledge of Consumer/Media products, Bell services & Internal Bell systems is an asset.
•    Experience with 5G technology and emerging consumer use cases (gaming, extended reality) is an asset
