Summary
The Product Manager drives the end‑to‑end development and launch of innovative products by collaborating with cross‑functional teams, analyzing customer and market data, managing complex projects, and ensuring smooth execution. They align stakeholders, monitor competitors, manage product lifecycles, and contribute to business cases while applying strong analytical, technical, and Agile product management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams & industry-leading partners to build and launch new innovative products & features that customers will love.
- Combining your creativity with sound data analysis to create the optimal customer experience (CX) .
- Pitching innovative solutions and recommendations in concise and compelling documents for presentation to senior executives.
- Executing flawlessly on projects, by building the right features for our customers and launching them quickly into the market.
- Manage highly complex projects and/or strategic initiatives with large cross functional teams
- Aligning stakeholders across the company as new products are introduced and as existing products are updated.
- Proactively track and manage issues and risks while escalating to senior project management to ensure that possible actions will mitigate these
- Prepare and contribute to internal presentations concerning project scope, timeline, activities, issues, budget and progress
- Prepare project timelines and assist with the determination of a project scope that is scheduled in manageable components
- Keeping an eye on our traditional and emerging competitors and updating the organization when market changes occur.
- Managing the product lifecycle across your product portfolio.
- Providing input into business cases to identify the business reasons for pursuing product initiatives.
Critical Qualifications
- A university degree, ideally in business or engineering.
- Prior experience in building solutions to meet customer needs.
- Previous experience in product development or product management, ideally in the fields of telecom or home entertainment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and track record of strong analytical capabilities.
- Ability to multi-task and quickly adjust to changing priorities, with organizational and project management skills.
- Team oriented; action oriented; self-motivated and delivery focused. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Great attention to detail and execution skills, with an ability to take initiative and get the job done.
- Ability to learn and understand new technologies.
- Ability to gather and analyze requirements. Ability to prioritize features and stories.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of overall business strategy and operations including business processes, revenue and cost components, and drivers of these measures.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
